What began as a grassroots effort among a small circle of colleagues has expanded over time, reaching new pockets of readers throughout the company. Through HerVoice, Shraddha shares timely reflections on the challenges women face in the workplace, offering practical insights that resonate across roles, functions, and career stages.
Since its launch, HerVoice has steadily grown in readership and impact. Employees across Marvell—women and allies alike—have found the series to be both relevant and actionable. Shraddha’s writing reflects her own journey and the voices of women throughout Marvell. “My intention is to spark resonance,” she shares. “I want women facing challenges to know they’re not alone—many have walked similar paths. And together, we have the strength and insight to rise, and to help others rise with us through meaningful partnerships with our allies.”

The latest article, “The Power of Pause,” explores how periods of transition—whether starting a new role, navigating career shifts, or balancing work and family—can be reframed as opportunities for growth. Drawing from her own experience returning to work after maternity leave, Shraddha reflects on how those moments helped her clarify priorities, focus on meaningful work, and make intentional choices that supported both her goals and her team’s success.

Shraddha envisions the series will continue to spark meaningful conversations across Marvell. “Many colleagues genuinely want to support the career growth of the women they work with, but aren’t always sure where to begin,” she says. “Start with a simple conversation. Ask, ‘How can I help?’ Or better yet, check out the Allies section in the HerVoice article—it’s basically your cheat sheet. No cape required.”
HerVoice is more than a publication—it’s a catalyst for change. We invite you to read, reflect, and take part.
The Power of Pause : Liminal Thinking
Liminal Thinking is the practice of embracing transitional or uncertain phases as opportunities for growth, self-discovery, and reinvention. It challenges limiting beliefs and routines, opening new possibilities for personal and professional development.
Many of us understand the power of transitions firsthand —taking on new roles, changing career paths, or balancing work and family. These “in-between” moments can be uncomfortable, but they are also where growth begins.
How We Can Foster Liminal Thinking
- The Power of Pause: Pause and reflect before moving to the next thing. Question old assumptions, reassess your values, and take stock of what matters most. This kind of intentional pause can turn uncertainty into courage, creativity, and direction.
- Embrace Transitions as Opportunities: View career changes, life changes, new beginnings, or times of reinvention not as setbacks, but as gateways to growth. These moments clarify our purpose and remind us that change is a chance to realign who we are with what we do.
- Let Go of Linear Progress: Growth isn’t always straight or predictable. Trust the pauses, the detours, and the reinvention that comes from them.
“Liminality is about emergence—not rushing to the next stage.”
What Can Allies Do?
- Model Vulnerability and Growth: Share your own experiences of uncertainty or change to normalize liminal moments and remove the pressure to have all the answers.
- Encourage Reflection, Not Just Results: Reframe moments of change as opportunities for learning. Support those navigating uncertainty with encouragement and trust.
- Celebrate the Journey : Recognize courage, reflection, and reinvention along the way—not just the final results.
Closing Thought
Pausing isn’t about standing still—it’s about preparing for what’s next. When we honor the power of pause, we open the door to reinvention for ourselves and those around us.
