I’d like to tell you about a woman I know. Perhaps you know her too. She’s driven, passionate, radiant, intelligent And she puts her whole heart into everything she pursues.
But sometimes, this woman forgets. So I’ll remind her of a few things we heard today.
Be clear on what you want, and who you want to be. Never walk away until you’ve heard three “no’s,” Because failure is the mother of success, And hearing no is just the entryway to yes.
Words that can guide her path, And shape the words she chooses to say.
Be curious. Lean in. When you change the way you see the world, The world you see changes.
Visualize success,
You teach people how to treat you. So know who you are. Understand your vision.
And put it out there. Back yourself, Let trust and hard work handle the rest.
Remember: we all have a story. Treat people with grace. And yes…you are sexy. You don’t need to be serious to be taken seriously.
So get out there! Make an impact. But never lose who you are. We are permission for each other. And no one can do it alone. So be patient, and ask for help.
And stop trying to be liked by everyone, That’s a goal you’ll never achieve! Instead, stand firm in your own conviction, It’s yourself you must believe.
Because this woman I know, And maybe you know her too? Isn’t just here to sit quietly. She’s here to lead, to live, to speak. To light up every room she walks into.
And that woman… Is you.
